Galveston

Galveston has changed a lot in the 16 years since I was there. The beach was much prettier than I remembered and the boardwalk was packed with people and resorts. When we took the shuttle to the boat the next morning we saw the Galveston I remembered with the refineries and rigs. Nice to see these things can coexist with each other.

Last meet as a 12 year old. Had to dust off the suit and hang up the track shoes.

13 years ago today, I met this amazing person who later agreed to be my husband! I thank God for him daily!!

I'm so grateful to my friends in my Kensington "hood" circle. It takes a village sometimes with kiddos and today was one of those days. Glad we can depend on each other!
