With Jenna's new contract back in Springdale being a week shorter she was able to be a lead teacher at VBS again. She also got the bonus of having Campbell in her group. All week we soaked in the praises from people about our kids. There is nothing like unsolicited praise about your child. Campbell makes friends so easily she's going to run for office one day. Noah's leader said he volunteered to pray every single day for his group. It is so hard to stand up and spontaneously speak to 100 mostly strangers but its another to spontaneously pray in front of them. I'm so proud of both of them. Here is the video of Sunday's celebration. Cam is middle row to the right and Noah speaks at the 26:20 mark.
Prayer
Our sweet Noah said an awesome prayer in the sanctuary today to end VBS week. He can honestly say he's prayed to more people at once than his dad. I would've been terrified but not Noah. We had to make him think about what he'd say this morning. He just shrugged and said he'd "wing it."
Very proud of my son.

Happy Father's Day 2011
A guy and I were talking last week. He and his wife are starting to think about kid's and he asked me how great it was. My only response was it is everything you can imagine but this is not the week to ask because everyday I come home, Noah has paint on his hands. He won't tell me what it's from, only 'it's a secret.' Finally, this morning I was given the fruits of his labor. A blue box he painted for me. Inside was written, "I love you because..." and a bunch of notes. Jenna swears he came up them all without prompting. I also got a new apron with a new moniker that was pretty clever. Highlight of the day was hitting golf balls in the yard beside the trampoline while the kids jumped with a sprinkler on. Noah singing with VBS at church was cool too. All around great day.
Happy day to all the father's out there, especially my own. I love you man. Can't wait to tee it up soon.
