Cam's preschool graduation

She was pretty excited. The day was a logistics nightmare with (mandatory) dress rehearsal for her ballet scheduled 30 minutes before!  With a little elbow grease and changing in the car we made it on time. Very proud of her cooperation. We'll miss all the classmates that are going to different schools but a new adventure awaits our little girl. We've had a kid at Children's World for 6 straight years. Jenna and I are so thankful for the teachers and staff there.  Not sure what we'll do without Mr. Robert in our daily life.

Noah the Second Grader and Cam the Preschooler

Another year and another first day of school.  This year our boy goes into the 2nd grade and Campbell begins full time preschool.  So far it's been a lot different.  Since he's in a big kid hallway now I haven't seen him a single time during the day at work.

Both kids walk right in the same self-confidence that I love and hate at the same time.  When I helped Noah take his supplies in the first day I got a wink and "Peace Dad." Seriously. I created you and I get "Peace Dad." Campbell had a little difficulty separating this summer going 2 days but now that everybody is getting up and ready and the morning she knows she's not missing anything. I had to ask her to come back to give me a knuckle pounds this morning.

<sigh>

Love those kids.

Campbell the preschooler

Just once I want my kids to separate poorly from me. Just once I want them to look back and say they need me. Just once I want them to show trepidation and say "Daddy stay a little longer!"
...........forget that. My kids are awesome.

Campbell wasn't scheduled to start pre-k until the fall but a part-time slot opened up and it would guarantee her spot.  We jumped on the chance and it is nice to have that put to rest.  It was really nice to see the exact same teachers as when Noah was there.  That speaks highly of them and Children's World I think. Of course they all remember Cam, who was a baby, but she smiled at them like they were long lost friends.

She's a little confused since she is in the same room she attends Sunday School.  She said all night and morning, "I go to Sunday School today!"  We'd correct her and call it "preschool."  She'd say "at JB Hunt?" which is where Noah goes to school.  When we would say she was going to Children's World at the church, she'd exclaim "I go to Sunday School today!" What can you do?

Here's her picture.  No, she doesn't go with faceless zombie kids, I just don't know them so I removed their faces. It makes a strange picture.  Of course, Noah will think it's cool if she goes with faceless zombie kids, but maybe next year.

Big boy goes to PeeSchool

Noah went the past few weeks to his new preschool but it didn't officially start with his new class until yesterday. He had a few days of separation problems but now he's a big boy and is excited. You can tell he misses Ms. Susan because he has asked a few times, "I go to Ms. Susan's house today." His teacher's name is Mr. Robert and Noah's thinks he hung the moon. The cutest thing is if you ask him where he goes and he'll tell you. "I big boy and go to PeeSchool and Mr. Robber is my teacher." I'll try to take a picture of him with Mr. "Rober" in the next few days and put them on here.
