WOW! It has been quite a roller coaster since little Noah was born. I am finally beginning to get my focus and come out of the survival fog! First I would like to sincerely thank everyone who has been keeping up with the Sullivan's via this incredible site my husband has put together. We so appreciate all your love and support and could not have made it through these first two weeks without our wonderful family and friends! Grandparents Johnson and Gramma Gail stayed with us and were a huge help to mommy and Noah. This mommy stuff is "way harder" than my "real" job, but every time those sweet little eyes look up at me, it melts my heart. I love watching him wake up in the mornings and seeing him stretch and yawn. I cannot rush his feeding before his little wake up routine or he gets mad at me. So I have just learned to sit and enjoy the moment. I cannot believe how much he seems to have already grown and changed. He has gained back his birthwieght plus two ounces. So, now he weighs a whopping six pounds, six ounces! He cannot wear any of his cute little outfits yet, but I know he will have outgrown them before I know it. I have given up dairy for a while to help his little tummy and things are going better since then. This week he has been sleeping about five to six hours at night, which has been wonderful! Chad gives him a late night bottle of breast milk around 11:30 and then puts him back to sleep and he has been sleeping until around 6:30. We are so proud!! I can function so much better the next day, too. We even went to lunch with my girlfriends and all their babies today for Val's birthday. Although, it was a struggle to get out of the door on time, we enjoyed our lunch date with our friends. I will try to keep post again soon as I grow into mommyhood and get better at managing our time. Much love and graditude to all of you!
