Home sweet home

We're at home now and Jenna's sleeping. Her parents brought her home from the surgery center while I went and got meds and stuff. Jenna's still in La-la-land but she got some lunch in her before bedtime. She was pretty emotional afterwards when we talked about this being her 'last' surgery so she's ready for this last little bit of healing.

Last meet as a 12 year old. Had to dust off the suit and hang up the track shoes.

13 years ago today, I met this amazing person who later agreed to be my husband! I thank God for him daily!!

I'm so grateful to my friends in my Kensington "hood" circle. It takes a village sometimes with kiddos and today was one of those days. Glad we can depend on each other!
